Ministries

Our approach to ministry is to help every person, whatever their age, or stage in life, to grow spiritually. To that end we attempt to think through what venues, opportunities, and materials are best. We want to meet our people where they are and take them where they need to go in their walk with the Lord.

Covenant Renewal Worship

Liturgical worship, based on Call to Worship, Confession, Consecration, Communion and Commissioning.

Men’s Wednesday Morning Prayer Breakfast

James says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” Every Wednesday Morning, the men of our church, young and old, gather in the home of one of our members to share a breakfast and to pray.

Family Theological Study

Every other Wednesday night families in our church gather in the home of one of our members for theological and biblical teaching and discussion. This is followed by a time of fellowship and recreation.

Monthly Music Night

Families meet monthly for jamming, singing and fellowship.

FIRST SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP MEAL AND TEACHING

Every First Sunday we gather for pot-luck, when the children recite answers to catechism questions they have been studying, and also teaching is provided on theological topics, e.g. explanation of our liturgy.

SECOND AND FOURTH SUNDAY PURITAN STUDY

Every second and fourth sunday familys gather at Pastor Murphy’s home to see a video of Puritan pastors and influential figures and Puritan teachings followed by teaching and discussion. The gathering begins with food and fellowship. Fellowship continues after the teaching.
